Cove Creek First Responders were dispatched to a public assist. Medics were not required to respond to the call. The caller only needed a few people to help get someone up off the floor and back in a chair.

The Fire Department was dispatched for a possible structure fire. The fire was contained to the deck, and was quickly extinguished - thus saving the house.

The First Responders were dispatched at 7:45pm on May 5th for a report of a potential stroke. The patient was transported to Watauga Medical Center via Watauga Rescue Squad.

The joint training exercise between the Fire Fighters and First Responder groups was held on Monday, May the 5th, 2008 at Cove Creek Station 1. Members from Shawneehaw, Beaver Dam, as well as Fall Creek were also in attendance.
