Cove Creek Fire Department

Cove Creek Volunteer Fire Department is located in Vilas, North Carolina. We are located off of 321 - 4/10 of a mile from the 421/321 intersection. The Fire Department provides multiple services to the Cove Creek Fire District.

Cove Creek Fire Department is a completely volunteer fire department with approximately 35 active volunteer members. Volunteer officers and members receive no compensation.

The department is headed operationally by Chief Terry Combs, who has served as fire chief for the past 6 years and been a member of the department for over 30 years. Administratively, the department is run jointly by the chief and a community elected Board of Directors.
